Cars from Korea and the USA are delivered to Ukraine by sea. They are placed in containers, after which they are loaded onto the ship. This fact can guarantee the complete safety of the cargo and the possibility of the customer receiving the car in a condition identical to that which was when the car was loaded into the container. The vehicle travels along the sea route, after which it arrives at the port of Ukraine. Note that sea transportation is an inexpensive and safe way to transport goods. The price for the delivery of a car from the USA to Ukraine is calculated by summing up all the services for transporting a vehicle: delivery of a car across America to the port of departure, sending an international mail, forwarding and broker services. The cost is influenced by the location of the auction from which the car leaves. The type of vehicle and its dimensions are also important. The first category includes hatchbacks, sedans and station wagons, the second – minivans, SUVs and crossovers, the third – minibuses, pickups and other large vehicles. - Excise duty. The calculation here is carried out on an individual basis, and the amount depends on the technical characteristics of the vehicle, the type of vehicle and its age;
- Customs duty. It is calculated based on the value of the imported vehicle and is 10% of this amount;
- VAT. In this case, we are talking about a fixed rate of 20%. It is calculated in accordance with the declared customs price tag of the car, excise tax and duty.
